PERFECTed WATER

Dear Water Enthusiast

PERFECTed WATER™ is a micro-structured, re-vitalized and -energized form of water, produced in our sterile and environmentally controlled laboratory, where we successfully re-create the best and purest drinkable water possible – just as nature intended.

Proof of this is not only seen in the glowing independent CSIR analyses which we receive from time to time, but also visible when these products are used. Increased energy levels, enhanced stamina and endurance are but a few of the benefits reported by our customers.

As part of our 11-stage micro-structuring process, the water is stripped of all its impurities, bacteria, harmful metals, chemicals, acidic pH, etc., leaving it as a complete but empty H2O solvent. We then expose the water to a nature-simulated spectrum of light, frequency and various other protocols.

Lastly we infuse natural electrolytes (84 minerals and trace elements) into the purified H2O solvent and with a controlled oxygen vortex we harmonize this live and re-vitalized, making it easy for our bodies to recognize, absorb and utilize for better hydration. No wonder then that our slogan is “Water – in its purest form”!

An added advantage of our water product is that the combination of oxygen, minerals and life gives the body the ability to heal itself through better cell-to-cell communication. By increasing the absorption of minerals and oxygen directly into the cells, hydration, oxygenation and detoxification are greatly improved, as is the removal of waste products.
During the processes involved in creating PERFECTed WATER™, our water is subjected to various stages of ultra filtration and treatment, all under laboratory conditions, resulting in the availability of the following intermediate and additional products:

1. Reverse Osmosis Water (RO Water) with TDS of 0 – 10/million
2. De–Ionised Water (DI Water) with TDS of 0 – 2/million
3. Distillate with TDS of 0/million (Sterile Water) of Pharmaceutical quality
4. Electrolyte Concentrate (11% saturation)

The above products have endless uses varying from sterilisation (e.g. medical autoclaves, other equipment and also theatres and surgeries), mixing medicine components and/or tinctures, treatment of sick animals (veterinarian or equine market segments), additives for irrigation of nutritional crops, to healing the people around us by keeping them hydrated with an enhanced and purified form of the best water possible which contains the correct balance in minerals, trace elements and, most importantly, correct pH.

We are proud that the results of our water as tested by the CSIR of Stellenbosch (analysis included below and compared to Government -SANS / SABS- requirements for drinking water) far outstrips the recommended levels of quality control currently required for similar operations and products. We are even more proud of the fact that our premises, plant and products are registered with the Medicines Control Council - registration number 137443.

OZONE THERAPY PROVIDES HOPE FOR CANCER PATIENTS

WHAT IS OZONE? Ozone is a very energetic form of pure oxygen produced in nature and occurs naturally in the stratosphere where oxygen (O ) is converted to ozone (O ) by the ultraviolet rays of the sun. For therapeutic purposes, ozone is generated by exposing medical grade oxygen to an electric charge using a calibrated medical ozone generator.  Ozone Therapy has been used in medical and naturopathic medicine since the 1870’s.

BENEFITS OF OZONE FOR CANCER PATIENTS
Improves oxygen levels in cells, tissues and organs
A gentle, yet effective form of detoxification
Aids relaxation and enhances the overall sense of wellbeing
Stimulates and modulates the deficient immune system
Enhances the body’s natural antioxidant system which protects cells
          against free radical damage
        Enhances peripheral circulation
The potency of any medicine taken concurrently with ozone treatment is
          greatly increased.
The unpleasant side effects of toxic, but necessary, medications such as
chemotherapy can be greatly minimised by ozone therapy.

What about anxiety? a simple tip.....or three

What about anxiety?  A simple tip ……or three

So many people are affected by anxiety on a regular basis. Some may even wake up with an anxious knot in their stomachs, others may experience a sense of rising anxiety as the day progresses. Sometimes we can relate these bodily manifestations to events out there:  an important exam, a confrontation with the boss or a neighbour, or a talk in public. Sometimes we are not even aware of the stimulus, we are simply aware of a sense of unease or even dread.  However when you examine your thought processes the cause will always become apparent.

Anxiety is part of the human condition – we fight it every day and it is not always clear who the winner is.  Many people believe that anxiety is something that you need to control:  bite your teeth, suppress those butterflies, put on a brave smile and forge ahead. Yes, and it works sometimes, because we may not give in to the dictates of anxiety as that would be like feeding a monster.

What is required is an attitude of letting go, just letting go. The very opposite of control!  When you become aware of the first sign of anxiety and you will know what it is for you….a sudden sweaty palm, tension in your chest from holding your breath or a dry mouth, or a need to piddle when you have just been……….

Acknowledge to yourself that you are in a situation that is having this specific effect on you, then reassure yourself that it is ok to feel this way and then give yourself, meaning your body, a coping message such as: “I can deal with this” or “I can cope. “

Note that it is a positive message designed to cancel out the previous message you sent your body which was probably: “OMG this is a disaster, what am I going to do? What if………everyone hates me, or I forget my lines or I am not good enough…………..”. Yes, the list is just about endless and moreover each anxiety attack is preceded by such self talk. This self -talk can be automatic and to change it you need to become aware of it first.

The second helpful thing to do is to stop whatever you are doing and take five deep and deliberate breaths…..it works like magic. Just try it right now. Anxiety makes us breathe very shallowly and that worsens the whole experience.

The third is to make exercise a part of your daily routine. Twenty minutes of moving about, getting your heart rate up, will help you discharge some of that trapped energy that comes from a sedentary lifestyle. So turn up the music and dance about, let the dog take you for a brisk walk, jog up and down the staircase or join a walking group. Choose something you enjoy otherwise it will lose its appeal before you know it. Exercise forces you to move out of that creative mind of yours and into your body.

Liftmasssage by LPG Endermologie for the Face
How it works:
Over time, regardless of gender or skin type, the thin tissues of the face, neck and décolleté will deteriorate. Despite having a balanced diet and a conscientious use of sun block, your skin will begin to droop and your lines and wrinkles will deepen into furrows.  To reverse these visible signs of aging, Liftmassage™ applies a concentrated effort on the superficial tissue layers, were the fibroblasts are. Fibroblasts are responsible for the collagen and elastin production that gives skin its firmness and elasticity. By stimulating the core of this cell, Liftmassage™ produces younger looking and denser skin. In just a few sessions, Liftmassage can repair the visible effects of aging- lines, wrinkles, loose skin – rejuvenating your face and décolleté for a youthful, radiant appearance.
Kind regards

The History of Herbalism and the use of Indigenous Herbs in South Africa

The History of Herbalism and the use of Indigenous Herbs in South Africa

Herbalism can be defined as using plants for its medicinal properties and dates back till the beginning of time.  A crude example is that even animals would know intuitively which plants to eat or not eat if they are unwell.  Certain plants contain active constituents which in some cases have medicinal properties when used appropriately. Evidence of the use of plants for its medicinal properties dates back to ancient Egyptian times (2680 – 2181 BC) as well as the Old Kingdom or Roman Period (31BC – AD 395), which certainly pre dates Western Medicine.  Plants were once a primary source of all the medicines in the world – natural products and their derivatives represent more than 50% of all drugs in Clinical use in the world.

Plants are important for the physical healing and spiritual well being of African people. It is estimated that more that 70% of South-Africans consult indigenous healers and that 80 – 85% of the black people of South Africa uses African traditional medicines. At least 600 species of African plants are commonly used as herbal remedies by Traditional Healers.

The medicinal plant trade in South Africa has the potential to generate valuable opportunities for economic and social upliftment of the county if it is well managed and not exploited.  Current research is focused on finding more efficient ways of propagating South African indigenous plants and to use it safe and effectively in a sustainable way.

It is well known that South Africa has a rich culture of traditional healing Practices – many which also include the use of plants. In Phytotherapy, plants and herbs are used in a clinical way. When working with plants as medicine it is essential to be aware of potential drug herb interactions in order to use herbal medicine safely – which is one of the reasons making Professional training is essential.  Phyto is the Greek word for plant – which emphasize the therapeutic action of plants.  Although herbal medicine has a very long history, In South Africa there is currently only 40 Practitioners of Phytotherapy registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa.

For any enquiries about the effective and safe use of Herbal Medicine you are welcome to contact Dr Sanien de Beer – the In House Registered Phytotherapist at Mayfair.

“But herbal medicine does have one indisputable advantage over chemical medicine…regardless of its history.  It seems reasonable to assume that any plant with a centuries-long reputation for being safe as well as effective, has probably earned that reputation”
