What is PHYTOTHERAPY?

Yes you read correctly it is PHYTOTHERAPY NOT PHYSIOTHERAPY. : )

Phytotherapy – the Art and Science of Practicing Clinical Herbal Medicine

This natural form of healing by using medicinal plants is referred to as Phyto-therapy (The prefix phyto coming from the Greek word phyton meaning "plant"). This implies the use of whole plant preparations rather than a single isolated chemical compound.

In nature everything is balanced and it is for this very reason why Herbal Medicines have been used extensively by so many people for so many centuries. Scientific studies confirmed that the whole plant not only contains the properties that heal but also the properties that counteract the side effects of the active ingredients that heal.

Phytotherapy can treat both acute and chronic conditions.  Qualified Phytotherapists are trained to understand herb-drug interactions. This enables them to safely treat patients who are using pharmaceutical medication and those who wish to enhance and maintain their health.
